The city has a twin – Mathura has no demarcations whatsoever from the place called Vrindavan.
The porousness is justifiable, in that Vrindavan was where Lord Krishna spent a good part of living.
For all the obvious reasons, the attractions of Mathura and Vrindavan are, in the main, the holiest of Hindu temples.
Taking precedence is Krishnajanmabhoomi, built on the very place where Krishna was born. Right in the center of Mathura is Dwarkadish Temple.
On the other hand, Vrindavan hosts many temples prominent in the life of the incarnated Vishnu. Its most popular is the Krishna Balrama Mandir.
While this temple is relatively new, Vrindavan’s other temples are more olden. The Radha Madana-Mohana Temple is the first to be built in Vrindavan.
