Even if a travel to India is planned in haste, no one can possibly miss a spot called the ‘Land of Kings’.
Quite proud, Rajasthan lives to tell about its ancient royals visibly sprawled in the vast Thar Desert.

Indeed, grand are the stories of romance, knightly prowess and chivalry. When in Rajasthan, one may hear the glorious tales, or feel it altogether with the sights to behold, the remains of the past.
Many delighted tourists can attest that the discovery of Rajasthan evokes a sense of wonderment akin to quaint feelings one senses upon stepping into a ‘whole new world’ that is ironically old. Anxious of missing any thing, many held tight to a trusty companion: a comprehensive district map of Rajasthan.
For indeed Rajasthan portrays its unique culture and rich history to a hilt – throw in some good tales of folklores and legends. For where else finds palaces and temples in the islands seemingly calling out loud to the fortresses on the hilltops; the bluest lakes intermingles with rocky Aravallis; the gardens thick amongst majestic pavilions; the kiosks imposing amid a few dancing peacocks. |
Where the Kings of yore ruled, the tourists of Rajasthan have tried one luxury that is fit for the royals, riding atop a painted and caparisoned elephants. As tradition would have it, it’s the regalia of the royal courts.
If that experience is not something to relish for a lifetime, how about exploring some more: desert, forts, palaces, mystical cities and obscure hamlets?
