India is a nation known for its diverse conditions and yet has fascinating tourist destinations. Rajasthan is one among India’s most visited tourist destinations and has a reputation of attracting more and more tourists every year.

Apart from this, Rajasthan has a much celebrated culture. The arts and culture of the state are also worth mentioning. The state is known for its arts and culture as they are also as fascinating as the tourist destinations within the state.

The arts and culture of the state is entirely absorbing as they still carry the essence of their traditions that have remained undaunted from the modernizing chasm of time that has altered and also ended several cultures.

Languages
Rajasthan is a state that has a vibrant culture and its culture dates back to thousands of years. Though the official language of Rajasthan is Hindi, Rajasthani is widely spoken within the state. There are also other languages that are spoken in the state.

Malwi is spoken in the South Eastern part of Rajasthan, Jaipuri is verbal in east Rajasthan and Mowati is the oral in the North Eastern region of the state. There are also other languages that are lingual in the state. This is an exhibition of the variation within the state.

Music and Dance
This region has its own popular dances. They get dressed in vibrant colors. Their popular dances are Udaipur’s Ghoomar dance, Bheel Tribals, Gair Ghoomer dance and the fire dance of Jasnathis. They perform festive and devotional music and their instruments includes stringed as well as autophonic instruments with percussion. The popular instruments are Sarangi, Ektara and Jantar.

Arts
Rajasthan is well known for hand embroidery such as Sanganeer, Zari, Bagaru, Patari Craftwork, Brasswork, Stone engravings, Kundan and gold jewellery. Rajasthan’s Bandhini sarees and the Jodhpur shoes have engraved a niche in the tourists.

It is believed that the barren landscape and the desolateness have made this region people more creative and that is apparently obvious in their dress patterns. Rajasthani paintings are fabulous are particularly revolve around Lord Krishna’s legends. Puppets are a great entertainment narrating mythological and historical legends.

Culture
Rajasthan culture is old and rich. They are yet keeping up with their traditions even in their dressing styles. They celebrate all Indian festivals. The fairs and festivals are celebrated with grandeur. They come out will pulsating bhangra, stick dance, fireworks and bull fight making the fair or festival vibrantly exotic.

There are many festivals celebrated as Camel festival Bikaner exercising architecture, Elephant Festival Jaipur exhibits the royal courts, Gangaur Festival is celebrated between Julys to August, Kite Festival is found in Jaipur in the month of January denoting best kite flyers, Marwar Festival is held in Jodhpur, Nagaur Festival is a cattle fair held in January – February in Naguar . Pushkar Fair is 10 days fair and is very enchanting.
