Mizoram
The state of Mizoram is located on the eastern part of India. It is said that Mizoram is one of the most beautiful states of the country, which is covered with fascinating natural landscapes.

In the year 1987, the state of Mizoram was converted into a state of the country. The north eastern border of the country is placed near the state of Mizoram. Myanmar and Bangladesh are located below the state of Mizoram. The capital of Mizoram is Aizawl.

Mizoram is a multicolored state, which is surrounded by hilly areas. It is true that hills are scrutinized by the rivers of the state. The state has rivers like Sonai, Karnafulli, Kolodyne, Tlawang, and Tuivai. At the same time, the state also has Tiu River, which is known as the border of India and Myanmar.

Due the rivers, the climate of Mizoram remains calm and pleasant. If you are traveling towards Mizoram then you should know that the state is breezy during the summers. At the same time, it is not freezing, during the winter season. The rainy season will sustain from mid of April to the end of September.

It is true that Mizoram is a fascinating state, which has bunch of natural landscapes, bright green valley, beautiful water falls, and thrilling forests. The biggest mountain of Mizoram is Phawngui. Another name of Phawngui is Blue Mountain. The state also has beautiful garden as well.

The culture and tradition of the state is different then other states of India. If you are planning to explore the culture and tradition of the state then you should experience the joy of festivals in Mizoram. It is true that most of the festivals are linked with agricultural task.

You will be surprised that Mizoram state has a high rate of literacy. It has a second best literacy ratio, throughout the country. Generally, you will come across lot of Christian, who are already settled in the state. People of Mizoram would prefer to speak Mizo. However, they are aware about English as well.

If you are wondering about the transportation facility within the state then you can use the option of bus. You will come across many buses in the state, which are managed by Mizoram State Transport.

On the other hand, if you are planning to visit Mizoram then you can catch a flight, which can help you to reach the airport of Aizawl. Rail is another way to reach Mizoram.
