The nearest Airport is Mumbai from Daman and Ahmedabad from Diu. The nearest rail route is through Vapi which is sited 12 kms on the western railway Mumbai-Ahmedabad line. The most convenient rail route is the one that is linked to Mumbai through Ahmedabad via Veraval using meter gauge. Road connects Daman and Diu. There are sufficient S.T.buses plying from Bhilad, Valsad and Vapi.

Local Transport

Exploring Daman can be done using local buses, Tongas and auto rickshaws. All these transportations are available from the railway station.
