While a map of Himachal Pradesh does not tangibly showcase Himachal Pradesh in all its glory, seeing the state in the flesh and sap eventually ends in enchantment.
For all one knows, Elysium is somewhere here, with its rolling meadows, wide valleys, limpid lakes, gushing streams and bountiful orchards.
If anything, Himachal Pradesh is the site of the Valley of the Gods, Kullu. Rudyard Kipling himself has said of Kullu, "Surely the Gods live here; this is no place for men."
The famous hill station of Manali is located atop this valley, as does Chamba, reflecting the lavishness of Himachal Pradesh’s feral beauty.
Another hill station to be is Dalhousie. Shimla can hold its own as a hill station, being the capital and all. |
