At best, Haryana holds up as the region in league with the most olden on earth. According to a reliable rail map of Haryana, the state lies in India’s north, bordered by the states of Delhi, Rajasthan, Uttaranchal, Himachal Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Punjab.

Lord Krishna himself is said to have walked here, fashioning the Bhagwad Gita. Notwithstanding such superlative history, an unprecedented multitude of tourist complexes are set up in Haryana for good measure.
Chandigarh is the capital, of repute as the only Indian city to have been designed by one prolific architect, Le Corbusier.

Every way a tourist’s staple too, in Haryana at least, is Kurukshetra. Hindus come here by the multitudes to see for themselves a very sacred place where the very grounds once bore the weight of the walking Lord Krishna. Here the Mahabharata, the conflict between the Kauravas and the Pandavas came to its epic culmination.
When it comes to wildlife, Sultanpur should be the one stopover. Rife with water birds, Sultanpur prides itself in an atmosphere of solemnity, as only a charming lakeside could offer.
