a strong hold of the Vijayanagar Empire,
the fort of Adoni.
Down on the banks of the Tungabhadra river
lies a star-shaped Shirdi Sai Baba Temple,
known as the Shirdi of the south.

lies in this interesting town a classic
example of Islamic architecture, the Jama
Masjid. Meanwhile, not many may fancy about
tombs, but here in Kurnool lies one of Abdul
Wahad
